Top 10 trending phones of week 35

Posted by Payton Wilmott On Sunday, September 2, 2018 0 comments

The IFA congress brought a few cool announcements, but they came short of shaking up our top 10 trending phone chart. Perhaps we'll only feel the effects next week, but for now we still have the Xiaomi Pocophone F1, leading from the Galaxy Note9. Below that the Oppo F9 has climbed to snatch the final podium spot, pushing the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and the Mi A2 down in the process. The Nokia 6.1 Plus retained sixth, while the Samsung Galaxy J6 and Huawei P Smart+ traded places and the J6 is now in front in seventh. The Xiaomi Mi A2 moved up in ninth, while the Apple iPhone 6 made a...

Motorola P30 Note official renders The Motorola P30 Note has the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset as the regular P30. The SoC is coupled with 4 GB or 6 GB RAM,...

This year's IFA in Berlin might not be over yet, but all the major announcements have been made. We can't say it was the most exciting of the shows but some manufacturers there was still some hot hardware for us. Sony As per tradition, Sony unveiled its H2 flagship at IFA and the Xperia XZ3 is more than a refresh of the Xperia XZ2 that was introduced back in April. It has a curved OLED screen like no other Xperia phone and it's the company's first QHD+ display as well. It seems like Sony is trying to tackle things a bit differently this time around by introducing new features...

Now it's time for you to pick a favorite. We'll start off with the flagship category, which is the most exciting really, but this year there were only two. Weekly poll results: the Pocophone F1 is the most-loved phone in a long while

Posted by Payton Wilmott On Saturday, September 1, 2018 0 comments

We can't recall when a phone got this much positive attention, Xiaomi really killed it with the Pocophone F1. And it all comes down to one simple number - the price. You can point to things you don't like, for example, the notch or the lack of waterproofing. But even some pricey flagships are guilty of those things (the notch especially is everywhere this year). The Poco will be available in many countries, but we can understand that some feel like they are missing out. That's still a crazy wide release, though, most killer deals are usually China-only or even US-only (we've seen some...
