EE has already launched its 5G network in the UK, and Vodafone will switch on its own on July 3. If you were wondering what Three's plans on the matter are, wonder no more. Three has officially confirmed that it's going to launch its very own 5G network in the UK at some point in August. Initially, this will be used only for home broadband type connections. It will be available in London first and if you sign up you'll get a router that connects to Three's 5G towers and then serves you Wi-Fi with speeds "comparable to fiber broadband".
