Back in March of last year, we heard that Samsung Display would be discontinuing LCD production by the end of 2020. That came and went, and nothing happened. Now, a new report from Korea says that Samsung Display is willing to keep making LCDs until the end of next year. What changed, you wonder? Well, apparently there's been a price rise for LCD panels, which began in June of last year and hasn't stopped yet.
