India bans 54 more Chinese apps from Google Play

The Indian Ministry of Home Affairs is banning 54 Chinese more apps from the local Google Play store citing national security concerns. However, one of the most popular apps on the list, if not the most popular, is originating from Singapore and it's Garena Free Fire. The app was named the best game on Google Play in 2021. This is not the first time the Indian government is blocking apps from the Indian app market. In June, September and November 2020, 219 Chinese apps in total were banned. The list contains prominent names such as TikTok, PUBG Mobile, Clash of Kings, Weibo, AliExpress...
