Sorry Dexter fans — Michael C. Hall's serial killer is not returning for a ninth season, despite a photoshopped poster indicating just that.
A supposed promotional poster promising a ninth season of the Showtime series, which ended in 2013, has been making the rounds, just in time for the finale's fifth anniversary. The fake poster indicates a Showtime and Netflix collaboration for a September 2018 return, showing both Hall's Dexter and Yvonne Stahovski's Hannah McKay.
