I had a chance to chat with actor John Boyega on the phone today during which time I asked for his thoughts on Finn's big showdown with his foe Captain Phasma in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
Some fans were disappointed by the brevity of their highly anticipated duel. Boyega understands their surprise.
Boyega said, "Yeah, man, I didn't expect it to be that quick if I'm being honest with you. I was like, wait, wait, what? He's been like ramped up for a big fight and then it was over in a second."
He added after a chuckle, "But, hopefully, Finn gets to face someone else or has a fight that's much longer.by the way
